After working in Education Recruitment for 4 years, leaving the sector was a decision that was hard to make: moving away from what I was passionate about and looking out into the whole new world of commercial recruitment was daunting and after 9 months in commercial recruitment, I decided to return to my roots!

Recruiter Awards 2016

We were delighted to be short-listed for 'Temporary Recruiter of the Year' at the National Recruiter awards held at the Grosvenor House Hotel in London. This is a huge honour for us and although we didn't win the prestigious award it proves that we are taking huge steps in the right direction to offer the best service possible!

National supply teacher week 2016


As you know this week is National Supply Teacher Week and Class People are fully committed to supporting and celebrating this week. Supply teachers are often thrown in at the deep end with often minimal time to prepare. With every day being a new classroom with different faces this can sound like a challenging task. It begs the questions why we use the word 'Supply' teachers when it would be accurate to call them 'Super' teachers.

Top tips to help you through your lesson observations

As you know the final placement season for PGCE students is approaching and with it, your lesson observations will become more frequent and more significant. Obviously it can get very easy to forget the basics when you're being observed - even more so now there is so much focus on children's learning in a single lesson - but the way you handle the classroom issues can make the difference between success and almost kicking yourself in the teeth.
