Class People are currently recruiting for a Primary School teacher in Abingdon. This is a long term position until the end of the academic year and for Year 5.
Company Overview: Class People are an independently run, family business specialising in the education sector. Class People was established over 20 years ago by our CEO who at the time was a supply teacher herself who wanted to create a better, more personalised service for client and candidate.
Responsibilities:
- Assist classroom teachers in delivering interactive and engaging lessons to meet the diverse needs of students.
- Teach following the curriculum and lesson plans provided by the school.
- Help maintain a safe and orderly learning environment.
- Engage learners with both classroom and out of classroom activites.
- Promote positive behaviour and inclusive environment amongst the students.
- Assist teachers in adapting lessons to meet the individual needs of the students.
- Assess and monitor students' progress, providing regular feedback to students and parents.

What you will need to be a part of the Class People team:
- Ability to engage and motivate learners.
- A valid right to work in the UK
- Strong classroom leadership and management skills
- Previous experience in a similar education setting preferred but not essential
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet the evolving needs of students and the school community.
