About the Role

Class People, on behalf of Barnardo’s, is recruiting for an exceptional Early Years Lead/Manager to join the team at Finlay Nursery. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with one of the UK's leading children’s charities and make a lasting impact on young lives.

As Early Years Lead, you will:

  • Manage a small, friendly team to deliver high-quality early education.
  • Work term time only, Monday to Friday (37 hours per week).
  • Be responsible for providing outstanding care and education to children under five.
  • Support and engage with families accessing the nursery’s services.

Requirements

We are looking for a caring, approachable, and experienced professional who:

  • Holds a minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Education or Childcare.
  • Has experience managing a nursery.
  • Possesses an in-depth understanding of the EYFS framework.
  • Demonstrates excellent organisational and communication skills.
  • Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
  • Can meet targets and deadlines with confidence.
