Class People, are thrilled to be supporting a unique and specialist SEN School in their search for an exceptional Principal to create a positive environment as well as motivate and empower all staff and students to succeed.
What are the roles and responsibilities for a SEN Principal?
- You will shape the future of SEND education within the school and beyond.
- You’ll work closely with the leadership team, teaching staff, and support staff, to create a shared vision for the school’s growth, ensuring that everyone continues to raise the standards of teaching, learning, and care for all students.
- To instil a creative and innovative style of leadership that inspires the pursuit of excellent educational standards and high aspirations for all pupils.
- You will demonstrate a dynamic and professional leadership style, which motivates all staff and sets high expectations.
What Class People are looking for in a SEN Principal?
- You will have at least 3 years at Deputy Head teacher level, with evidence of successful leadership in a SEND environment.
- A proven commitment to school improvement, including working with other schools in collaboration.
- You will have a working knowledge and understanding of school finances, curriculum development and operational planning.
- Experience of working closely with the Governing Body and the Local Authority to support school improvement.
- An exceptional role model with the highest standards of integrity, who is approachable and demonstrates a strong and collaborative leadership style.
