Are you an experienced Senior IT Technician who is looking for a new challenge to provide support to all users within a local school? Do you have experience providing senior level IT support to a range of ability users?

Class People, are thrilled to be supporting a local educational establishment in the recruitment for a Senior School IT Technician on a full-time permanent basis working all year round!

What are the roles and responsibilities for a Senior IT Technician?

  • To assist the IT Network Manager in supporting the school network, PC infrastructure, telecoms and Audio-Visual systems.
  • You will take responsibility for and lead on independent projects as needed, according to the school development plan.
  • To provide the first and second level of technical support to users relating to all IT, telecoms, Audio Visual equipment and stage lighting and controllers.
  • You will identify software, hardware and working practices to enable the development of ICT to support improvements in teaching and learning.

 What Class People are looking for in a Senior IT Technician?

  • Experience in IT support and have a positive approach to solving problems and improving user experience.
  • Relevant experience in Windows 10 & 11, Office 365, printers, touch screen technology, projectors and networking hardware is desirable.
  • Ability to work on own initiative and prioritise workloads to meet specified deadlines.
  • Someone who is passionate about providing support to a range of users from students to staff members within the school.

This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure and pre-employment checks.

This opportunity is paying up to £31,586 per year on a full-time all year round basis.
